RocCera patented technology improves the service life of snow plow shoes by 5 to 8 times when compared to traditional cast steel shoes

Zirconia snow plow shoes lasted longer than one season compared to steel shoes which lasted only for one eight hour shift. Zirconia ceramic inserts were brazed onto a standard steel shoe and placed in service on the rural roads (2/3rd dirt and 1/3rd paved roads). At the end of the season (and miles of snow plowing), the ceramic shoes showed no sign of wear.
